Pumps and Systems

Centrifugal Pumps

Centrifugal Pumps

Single-stage volute casing centrifugal pumps in back pull-out design. Ratings and main dimensions comply with EN 733. A closed radial impeller, replaceable casing wear rings and a mechanical seal to EN 12756 ensure long-term reliable operation.

Thanks to their wide flow and pressure range, they are used in many applications — from water supply systems to heating, cooling and air-conditioning circuits, fire-fighting, irrigation and swimming pools. Cast iron, ductile iron and cast bronze casing options adapt them to a variety of needs, from clean water to seawater.

Which material? Cast iron is recommended for clean water, heating and cooling circuits; ductile iron for lines requiring higher mechanical strength; bronze casing for seawater and brackish water.

Advantages

Energy Efficiency

  • High-efficiency hydraulic design; the impeller diameter is trimmed to the duty point as standard.
  • Energy savings of up to 60% with variable speed control.
  • The efficiency requirements of the ErP Directive (MEI ≥ 0.4) are significantly exceeded.

Operating Reliability

  • Low NPSH values and optimum suction characteristics.
  • Confined casing gasket for increased tightness.
  • Large stud diameters (M12/M16) ensure secure connections.
  • The shaft protecting sleeve protects the pump shaft from wear.

Wide Range of Options

  • Single and double mechanical seal and gland packing options.
  • A large variety of materials to suit different fluids.
  • EN 1092 flanges, ASME bolt hole pattern optional.

Ease of Service

  • Back pull-out design: coupling, bearing bracket and impeller can be removed without disconnecting the pump casing from the piping.
  • Easily replaceable wear rings reduce wear at the impeller and casing cover.
  • Forcing screws on the casing cover make dismantling easier.

Smart Monitoring

  • Optional temperature and vibration monitoring system.
  • Optional pump performance monitoring.

High-Efficiency Motor

  • IE4/IE5 efficiency class motor option with frequency inverter.*

* The IE5 efficiency class (IEC/TS 60034-30-2) motor option is available up to 15/18.5 kW. Please contact our sales team to check suitability.

How to Choose

  1. Determine the flow rateThe total fluid demand of the system (m³/h) determines the pump size and impeller diameter.
  2. Calculate the headAdd static height, pipe and fitting losses and the required outlet pressure; the duty point should lie in the efficient range of the pump curve.
  3. Define the fluid and temperatureClean water, hot water or seawater; the operating temperature between -30 °C and +140 °C affects casing material and seal selection.
  4. Select material and driveCast iron, ductile iron or bronze casing depending on the fluid; a speed-controlled high-efficiency motor for energy savings.
